Overview

The Sacred Heart Guild has been a part of St. James for over 85 years. In 1940, Monsignor Gleeson, Pastor, established this Guild as an organization where the Italian immigrant women in the community could come together and share their time and talents for the good of the parish. Today, any woman who is interested in following the mission of the GUILD is welcome.

The Guild focuses on opportunities in 3 general areas:

• Personal spiritual foundation and growth
• Service to, outreach to and support of the parish and community at large
• Social events
